How money matters in LIFE!!!!!!

Money!!!The word that has been ruling the world for quite a few centuries. I cannot picture how the world would have been during the barter system age. Money has become the most fundamental need for human beings. For some people, it is the sole purpose of their life.

How money matters to individuals differs according to their mind-set. There are poor people, rich people, and middle class people who have their own idea and desire for money. On a broader spectrum, the idea of money is like a chain reaction that never ends. A person with a cycle wants a bike; a person with a bike wants a car; a person with a car wants a personal jet; and the guy with a personal jet??? Probably is still not happy.

Why money matters and why it does not?

There is an old saying “Money can’t buy happiness”. But somehow this phrase is not very applicable in current day’s scenario. People assume that money provides happiness. For a few it might hold good, for a few it might not.

I feel that true happiness does not need to be based on money. There are many occasions in life that you spend with people and nature that feels blissful. The moments in life when you feel loved, special, cared are not based on money. The sensation that I feel when I come up with creative ideas, when I finish a good sketch, and when I get a warm hug from my loved ones is never going to be equal to the happiness that I derive from money. I am sure one should gain pleasure by doing things you love rather than buying things you like.

Imagine a world with no money at all!!! Just literally imagine it. Is it not more peaceful? There is no rat race, no stress, and no discontent in anybody’s life. Most importantly there will be no divide among fellow human beings based on their financial status.

Well, all said and done. Technically, the above explained world is simply not going to happen. Coming to reality, money does matter to some extent. That extend depends on the type of a person you are. I have seen people live happily living with less and some people happily living with more. There has to be a balance in life that has to be maintained. It is not worthy to always keep running behind money and fail to notice the happiness around you.

Money is numbers, and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end - Bob Marley.
